Sussan Anibueze brings over two decades of diverse experience in education and more than eight years of progressive experience in addiction and mental health, making her a compassionate and skilled leader in the disability support services and addiction and mental health fields. She firmly believes that there is ability in every disability, and she provides a trauma-informed, harm-reduction approach to supporting individuals facing complex challenges, inspiring hope and confidence in their potential. With 12 years of experience working with children, youths, and adults with developmental and learning disabilities, she has a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. My experience spans through disabilities and addiction, including dementia, bipolar disorder, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), eating disorders, identity disorders, and more.
Beyond professional responsibilities, I volunteer to support individuals navigating addiction and mental health challenges, advocating for them and connecting them to essential community resources. My hobbies include baking, crafts, and fashion designing.
My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a diploma in Addiction and Community Services, Business Administration, and Fashion and Apparel Technology, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, demonstrating my commitment to ongoing education and professional development.As a dedicated advocate for inclusivity, I am committed to creating empowering spaces that nurture the abilities and potential of individuals with disabilities.
