My name is Ifeanyi Reginald Ejiagha, I was born in Nigeria, to a middle class Christian family. I grew up being involved in volunteering at various charity home that were being managed by the Christian community back in Nigeria. This was a norm for me because of my family background but it really shaped my understanding of developmental and intellectual disabilities. Though my early education was in Engineering but having migrated to Canada, I later studied addiction and community disability support work at diploma level. Since then, I have been working in this vulnerable sector, providing care to children, youths and adults diagnosed with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

I am happy to be part of this team that has dedicated their time, resources and experience in helping individuals and family manage their disability by celebrating abilities inherent in each of the individuals and touching lives.

I have about 12 years of progressive experience in the field of addiction, developmental and intellectual disabilities. This spans from Nigerian as a volunteer worker in various charity homes to Canada as a residential and community support worker. I have worked in different capacities both as a frontline worker, supervisor, program coordinator and operations manager. I possess excellent skills and requisite experience in providing care to individuals who need diverse care and support to function in the community. I am non-judgmental in dealing with people and passionate about delivering the best service to our individuals.
